How Happy Are We? - Sentiment Analytics to Paint the Mood of a City

Monolitt is an idea that sits on the creative side - rather than the dark and intrusive side - of data manipulation.
It's an interactive installation that, quite literally, paints the mood of the city using social media feeds as data input. The installation takes electronic signals and lets them manifest themselves in the physical world. Using sentiment analytics the installation links a city's tweets to corresponding coloured paints, in realtime, feeding them out through the top of the sculpture, letting them flow into a procedurally generated three-dimensional painting.
So, after tweeting about bad politics, or obnoxious people on public transport, city dwellers might visit the installation and contemplate which particular drip of black paint is a physical manifestation of their earlier Twitter rage?
