Directed by Calmatic and filmed in sun-drenched Los Angeles

Anderson Paak is on a wave right now; working with DJ Premier, Stones Throw producer Knxledge under their collaborative project ‘NxWorries’, touring with Earl Sweatshirt and guesting throughout Dr Dre’s new album Straight Outta Compton. Life is sweet for Mr Paak right now and it’s well deserved, he’s a true talent that can sing, rap and has dedicated the last 10 years of his life to music.
‘Suede’ by NxWorries is one of my favourite tracks of the year so far, originally released on Stones Throw six months ago but now re-booted with a new music video directed by Calmatic. Filmed in sun-drenched LA, the intro of the video gives a nod to retro b-movies and it has a strong Americana feel throughout; from the vintage convertible they cruise around in, to the videos’ colour grade.
