A playlist of ten tracks we recommend you blast on your official day of rest

Sunday Mass is a playlist of ten tracks we recommend you blast on your official day of rest. Ten Commandments in audio form. Thou shall press play...

LIL UZI VERT - THUGGER VOICE

Thugger Voice is a fresh tune from Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert who released his Luv Is Rage mixtape last year. Uzi’s music clearly influenced by Atlanta’s sound is one to pay attention to in 2016.

A2 - SPOOKY FREESTYLE

Songwriter and producer from London A2 built a bit of hype around him prior the release of his highly anticipated EP More Sleep. In Spooky Freestyle he continues on his line of wavy sounds and tight lyrics.

BABYFATHER - SHOOK

London’s Babyfather (Dean Blunt featuring Arca and Mica Levi) have just released the 23 tracks BBF album hosted by DJ Escrow. This album follows the release of airy classic tune ‘Meditation” that probably got you singing ’20 bands, 20 bands, 20 bands’ through your day as much as it did to me.

SKYWLKR  DANNY BROWN - VIP BOOTLEG

Producer SkyWlkr released a remix of Actress’ RIP alongside Danny Brown. The bootleg is only a minute long, but it is a damn good minute.

ASAP FERG & TORY LANEZ - LINE UP THE FLEX

This week saw the release of a collaborative track between ASAP Ferg and Lanez. This track, which follows the line-of-sound of ASAP Ferg’s recent track ‘New Level’, doesn’t really need any further introduction. Asap Fergs’ upcoming album is due for release on the 22nd  of April and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

DRAKE ft. WIZKID AND KYLA - ONE DANCE

Drake tracks seldom need to be promoted via any track list but let us put this recent release in here,  if only for its clear reference to UK sound. If Drake’s appearance at a Section Boyz’ show in London during the BRITS didn’t establish his fostering of the UK music scene enough, here we have him sampling Crazy Cousinz remix of a classic UK bassline track by DJ Paleface.

Listen via Apple Music.

D.R.A.M - DON’T LET D.R.A.M BE A HOT BOY

D.R.A.M  did it again with the wavy vibes, a perfect tune for any Sunday.

JEFE REPLAY - SIPS TEA

This is by no means a fresh tune but a lot of people are still sleeping on this rapper from Boston. The track released last August under the production of Obeatz is still very relevant.

CHESTER WATSON - ACID RESIDUE

Florida rapper Chester Watson self-produced Acid Residue is the second release of his “Three birthday month releases”. His next project Winter Mirage is due to be out by the fall of 2016.

BRYANT STEWART - NORTH SIDE

St. Louis emcee/singer Bryant Stewart provides another smooth tune to listen to on this Sunday. Some of his previous work includes collaborations with BJ the Chicago Kid in track Autocratic with instrumentals from J-Louis. The rnb/soul singer is another one to watch for.
