Constance zones out with an imaginary friend
By Abdullah Al-wali on September 18th 2015
Connie Constance is the newest addition to the eclectic record label Black Acre. Shimmering and subtle, Constance has quality to her voice that makes for an endearing listing journey, avoiding any fatigue on the listener's ear. It's UK-centric too, with an accent that cuts through and re-affirms her British identity.
In her latest music video 'Stars', she zones out with an imaginary friend; A giant purple, blue and shaggy haired creature that doubles up as her dancing partner and comforter. The videos' autumnal colours compliment the tracks dreamy escapism lyrics.
The song was produced by Blue Daisy, who shows a more melodic side on this beat compared to others. You can buy the new EP In The Grass here.
